My Squarespace trial has ended
If your trial has expired, your site is no longer public, and all content is scheduled for permanent deletion. This is managed directly by Squarespace and is outside of our control.
You have up to one year to work on your site during the trial period (unless you purchased an on-site installation, in which case your timeline may differ). It’s important to keep an eye on how many days you have left. Once your trial ends, your access is revoked.
What you can do if your trial has ended:
Option 01: Start a subscription
In some cases, starting a Squarespace subscription right away may restore access to your content (if the trial expired recently).
Option 02: Reinstall your template
If the site is unrecoverable, you can purchase a reinstallation and start fresh. This will require re-customizing your template from scratch.
We understand this can be frustrating, but keeping track of your trial period is essential to avoid data loss. If you’re unsure how much time you have left, be sure to check your Squarespace account dashboard regularly.
