Template Terms and Policies
By purchasing any template from Candor Templates or accessing any related materials, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase or use any of our products or services.

Candor Templates reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time and at our sole discretion. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all prior versions and will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. We are under no obligation to provide you with direct notice of such changes. Your continued use of our products or services after any modification to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Definitions
Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:
"We," "us," and "our" — refers to Candor Templates, a partnership trading under the name Candor Templates, operating in the United Kingdom.
"You", "User," "Customer," or "Client" — refers to any individual, company, or entity that accesses, browses, purchases, or makes use of our products, services, or website.
"Installed" — means the point at which the selected installation method has been initiated. This may occur when:
a) an invitation or site permissions request is sent to you,
b) customization work has commenced on your existing website, or
c) access to any purchased digital materials has been provided.
"Squarespace Template" — refers to a pre-designed layout, structure, and aesthetic customization created for use within the Squarespace platform. Templates consist of visual design elements such as fonts, colour palettes, and page layouts, but do not alter or interfere with the underlying platform functionality.
Unless otherwise specified, all defined terms in this section shall include any reasonable variations or derivatives used throughout this document.
Eligibility, Age & Authority
Eligibility, Age & Authority. By purchasing or using our templates or services, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. Where you act on behalf of a company, partnership, sole tradership, or other organisation, you further warrant that you are duly authorised to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not meet these requirements or lack such authority, you must not purchase or use our products or services.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the foregoing, we shall not be liable for: loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) shall be limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Force Majeure
We shall not be in breach of these Terms nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any obligations where such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) platform outages, changes to third-party services, internet or hosting failures, strikes, acts of God, epidemic, or governmental action.
Indemnity (Your Content & Use)
You warrant that any content, data, branding, images or materials you supply or publish are lawful and do not infringe any third-party rights. You indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the templates or services.
Squarespace Templates
Our Squarespace templates are pre-designed website layouts that provide a cohesive visual and structural framework for your website. Each template includes a curated selection of fonts, colour palettes, and layout components, all crafted to enhance the aesthetic and user experience of your site.
Please note that our templates affect the appearance and design only. They do not alter the underlying functionality or features of the Squarespace platform, which remains fully governed by Squarespace’s own systems and capabilities.
Think of the template as the visual styling or “skin” of your website — it controls how your content is presented, but not how the platform operates. If you require specific functionality beyond the standard Squarespace features (such as advanced interactivity, third-party tools, or custom integrations), it is your responsibility to implement those separately, either through Squarespace’s built-in options or through third-party services.
Template Installation
We offer two installation options for your Squarespace template:
New Website Transfer – We transfer the template into your account as a brand-new Squarespace website.
Existing Website Installation – We install the template onto your current Squarespace 7.1 website.
New Website Transfer
If you opt to receive your template as a new website:
Your site will be created on Squarespace version 7.1.
An active Squarespace Core Plan (or higher) is required. If your account does not meet this requirement, some features and template code may not function correctly.
We will initiate the transfer within 48 business hours of purchase, by sending a website permissions invitation to the email address you provided. This invitation will come from hello[at]candortemplates[dot]com.
You are solely responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address. We are not liable for delivery issues caused by incorrect contact details.
Please note:
The template will appear exactly as demonstrated in the linked product demo, but images will be replaced with placeholder visuals.
You are responsible for adding your own content, text, images, branding, and customizations.
Once installed, templates cannot be reapplied, reused, or transferred to another website.
Important:
It is your responsibility to add your own text, imagery, and brand-specific elements after installation. Templates are not transferable to additional websites once installed.
Existing Website Installation
If you choose installation on your current Squarespace website:
Your website must be on version 7.1 and subscribed to a Core Plan or higher. Without this, some features or code elements may not function properly.
Installation will begin only after we have received and accepted your site permissions invitation to hello[at]candortemplates[dot]com. The 48-hour installation period begins upon our acceptance of that invitation.
Installation process:
Your site visibility will be temporarily changed to password protected during installation. Please plan accordingly to accommodate any downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from this temporary restriction.
Existing content will be moved to an archive folder within the unlinked section of your site.
The demo template’s CSS and JavaScript code will be added to your site. Any pre-existing custom code will be disabled via comments, not deleted.
Your design style settings (e.g., colors, fonts, animations) will be updated to match the demo template. These changes apply site-wide, meaning your current pages may appear visually different, even though we will not alter their layout or content.
Header and footer content cannot be preserved as they are universal across all Squarespace pages. These will be updated to reflect the demo template design.
Important:
It is your responsibility to add your own text, imagery, and brand-specific elements after installation. Templates are not transferable to additional websites once installed.
Squarespace Version Compatibility
Both installation options are only available for Squarespace version 7.1.
Templates cannot be installed on earlier versions (e.g., Squarespace 7.0).
If you wish to change your selected installation method after purchase, we may be able to accommodate this for an additional fee, provided the template is still available in our store.
Installation Does Not Include
Please be aware that installation is limited to the delivery and setup of the demo template only. It does not include:
Customization of any kind
Content uploading or editing
SEO setup
Domain or email setup
Squarespace tutorials or training
Revisions, refinements, or design changes
Social media integration
Website migration (content, domains, etc.)
Third-party integrations
Graphic design or branding
Copywriting or content writing
E-commerce setup or payment gateway configuration
Custom coding or development beyond the template
Ongoing maintenance or future updates
Support beyond 30 days from the date of installation
What You Will Receive
A professionally installed version of the template exactly as shown in the linked product demo, including any included CSS or JavaScript.
Demo photos are not included and will be replaced with placeholders, as original image rights remain with the respective photographers.
Templates are intended for DIY customization. You are responsible for adding and managing your own content.
We do not offer support for template customization beyond the scope of what is included in the demo design. If you require further design assistance or tailored features, we are happy to provide a custom design quote upon request.
Etsy Purchase Installation Terms
If you have purchased a template via our Etsy shop, installation will not begin until you have completed the required form linked in the provided PDF. This PDF can be accessed by logging into your Etsy account, navigating to “Your Account” → “Purchases and Reviews”, and downloading it from your order confirmation.
Important Notes:
Submission of the installation form is mandatory. We cannot proceed with installation until all required information and preferences have been provided.
The 48-hour installation timeframe begins only after we have received and reviewed your completed form—not from the time of purchase.
Failure to complete the form in a timely manner may result in delays. We are not responsible for installation delays caused by missing, incorrect, or late submissions.
By purchasing a template through Etsy, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. You also accept that it is your responsibility to complete and submit the installation form accurately and promptly.
We are not liable for any issues, delays, or misconfigurations arising from:
Incomplete or inaccurate installation form details
Delayed form submission
Failure to follow the provided instructions

Installation Fee
The installation fee is included or required depending on the installation method you choose.
New Website Transfer: If you choose to have your template transferred to you as a new Squarespace website, the installation fee is included in the price of the template. No additional installation charge is required.
Existing Website Installation: If you wish to have the template installed on your existing Squarespace 7.1 website, an installation add-on is required, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page at the time of purchase. This add-on covers the additional time and manual work involved in applying the template to a live site.
If installation on an existing site is included in the template price, this will be clearly indicated in the template listing or product description. If no such statement is present, it is assumed that the add-on must be purchased separately.
Installation Timeline
We aim to complete all template installations within 48 business hours of receiving all required information (e.g. installation form or site permissions), during our working hours:
Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 UK time.
Please note the following:
The 48-hour installation window excludes the day of purchase, weekends, UK public holidays, and national holidays.
For example, if your purchase is completed on a Monday and we receive all necessary information the same day, your installation will be completed by the end of Wednesday (UK time).
All times and deadlines are based on UK local time, regardless of the customer's location.
While we make every effort to meet the 48-hour timeframe, this is an estimated timeframe and not a guarantee. In the rare event that we anticipate a delay, we will notify you as soon as possible.
By purchasing a template, you acknowledge and accept this installation timeline and agree to contact us promptly if you experience any issues or concerns during the process. Please note that we are not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Incomplete form submissions or missing information
Delays in accepting permission invites
Platform outages or technical errors
Server or email delivery issues
External calendar holidays or scheduling conflicts
Email Invitation Delivery
If your purchase includes a service that requires access via an email invitation (e.g. for site transfer or collaboration permissions), it is your responsibility to ensure that the invitation has been received within 48 hours of purchase.
Invitations are deemed delivered when sent to the email supplied at checkout unless we receive a bounce-back
If you do not receive the email invitation within this period:
You must contact us at hello[at]candortemplates[dot]com within the 48-hour window to request a new invitation.
Please ensure that you have checked your spam or junk folders and that you have provided the correct email address during checkout.
If you fail to accept the invitation and do not request a new one within 30 calendar days of purchase, the service will be deemed delivered in full, and:
You will no longer be eligible to request a new invitation.
No refunds, replacements, or reissues will be provided.
By purchasing our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and accept full responsibility for checking and accepting your invitation in a timely manner.
Copyright
All template designs and accompanying files (excluding demo images) are the intellectual property of Candor Templates and are protected under copyright law.
Ownership and Restrictions
By purchasing a template, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-use licence to use the design for one Squarespace website only.
You may not share, resell, duplicate, redistribute, sublicense, or claim any part of the template or accompanying materials (including code, CSS, JS, graphics, or design assets) as your own.
The files provided are for your use only and must not be distributed to third parties under any circumstances.
Client and Commercial Projects
If you are using a template as part of a client project or any paid engagement, you are not permitted to claim authorship or original design credit. In these cases, you must provide visible credit to Candor Templates in order to comply with the licence.
Appropriate credit includes a statement such as: “Template design by Candor” in the footer or credits page, with a live hyperlink to our website.
If you are crediting multiple contributors, you may move our credit to a site credits page, provided that page is linked from the site footer and the credit remains clear and accurate.
You may add your own name alongside ours, so long as you do not misrepresent the origin of the design.
We welcome the use of our templates in professional and client projects and are happy to collaborate where appropriate. However, we ask that our copyright and intellectual property rights are fully respected.
Image Use
All photographs and imagery used in our template demos are for illustration purposes only and remain the property of their original copyright holders.
Your template will be installed using placeholder images, which you must replace with your own licensed or owned content.
Demo images may not be used on live websites unless you hold the appropriate copyright or licence.
Promotional Use
We reserve the right to showcase your completed website (using our template) in our marketing and promotional materials, such as our template gallery or social media. This will never include any confidential or sensitive data, and we will always request your explicit permission before sharing personal or business-identifying content.
Template Updates
All templates are sold as-is at the time of purchase.
We are not obligated to provide updates, enhancements, or reinstallation services if newer versions or alternative designs are released after your purchase. Additionally, we do not guarantee ongoing updates to templates that have been retired, discontinued, or removed from our store.
You are purchasing a one-time installation of the template in its current form, and no future support for revisions, new features, or compatibility updates is included unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of sale.
If you wish to upgrade to a newer version of a template, or transfer to a different design, this would require a separate purchase or custom service quote.
Responsibility for Template
Once your template has been installed, the service is deemed complete and fulfilled. From that point forward, you are fully responsible for the ongoing maintenance, customisation, and management of your website.
Trial Site and Activation
If your template has been installed on a Squarespace trial site, it is your responsibility to upgrade to a paid Squarespace plan within the trial period. If your trial expires before activation:
You will lose access to the site and its contents.
We will not issue a replacement template or new installation.
A new template must be purchased if you wish to restart the process.
We are not liable for any data loss or downtime resulting from an expired trial.
Post-Installation Customization
Our templates are designed for DIY use. After installation, you are responsible for:
Adding your own content, branding, and imagery
Making any required changes or customizations
Preserving your own site design and structure
We are not responsible for any modifications, deletions, or errors you make after installation. If content or style settings are changed, deleted, or overwritten, we are not required to reinstall the template or restore any previous version.
Squarespace Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for managing and maintaining your Squarespace account, including but not limited to:
Domain purchases or transfers
Hosting fees
Subscription renewals (monthly or annual plans)
Email services, integrations, and third-party tools
Please ensure that your billing information is accurate and up to date at all times. We are not responsible for any service interruptions, errors, or site downtime resulting from non-payment, expired billing methods, or issues with your Squarespace account.
Demo Pages
Your template will include duplicated and disabled demo pages at the time of installation. These are provided as a backup reference, allowing you to view the original layout and design after installation is complete.
Please note:
There is no one-click reinstall or reset option for the template or its demo content.
It is entirely your responsibility to preserve the demo pages provided during installation.
If you delete or significantly modify these pages, we are not obligated to recreate, reinstall, or recover them at a later date.
We strongly recommend keeping the original demo pages in your site’s unlinked section, unedited, so that you can refer back to them if needed. Any changes you make to your site are made at your own risk.
Support
Each template purchase includes 30 days of email-based support, beginning from the date your template is delivered.
Our support covers basic assistance with template-specific customization, such as:
Editing or modifying the pre-designed layout
Adjusting colours, fonts, and design settings
Customizing Canva graphics (if included in your purchase)
This support is intended to help you customize your template within its intended design framework.
What Support Does Not Include
Please note that our support service does not cover the following:
Squarespace platform issues or bugs
Technical support for hosting, domains, or email accounts
Design advice or strategy guidance
Custom code development, third-party integrations, or plugin troubleshooting
Software or IT/computer-related problems
Template reinstallation (under any circumstance)
Reinstallation of outdated templates
Changes to your installation preference (e.g. switching from a new site to existing-site install)
Once your template has been installed, the service is considered complete, and no changes to the installation method will be permitted.
Platform Updates
Squarespace may update its platform, features, or design system at any time. These changes are outside of our control, and:
We are not obligated to provide support for older templates that may no longer be compatible with newer versions of Squarespace.
If major platform changes affect your template’s performance, we are happy to provide a custom support or update quote where applicable.
Trial Site
If your template is installed on a Squarespace trial site, it is your sole responsibility to upgrade to a paid plan within the trial period provided by Squarespace.
Please be aware:
We have no control over Squarespace’s trial durations, expirations, or policies.
If your trial site expires or is deactivated, your access to the template and its contents will be lost.
If your trial lapses:
You must reactivate your site directly through Squarespace.
We will not issue a replacement template or reinstall the design.
To reinstall the template, you will be required to repurchase both the template and installation service.
We strongly recommend upgrading your trial site well before the expiration date to avoid any risk of data loss or additional costs.

If you choose to have your template delivered as a new Squarespace website, you will automatically receive the following exclusive benefits:

Important Notes:
The 25% discount and 12-month trial apply only when you choose the new site transfer option at checkout.
These offers are not available for existing site installations or manual template installations.
If you remove Candor Templates from your website permissions before upgrading, you will forfeit eligibility for both the discount and extended trial.
We have no control over these offers, and we cannot be held liable if Squarespace changes, withdraws, or discontinues them at any time.
License
Template Usage Licence
Each template purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-use licence to use the template for one (1) Squarespace website only.
In summary:
1 template purchase = 1 website licence
If you wish to use the same template for a different person, business, or project, you must purchase an additional licence for each new use
Licences may not be reassigned, sub-licensed, or transferred to any third party under any circumstances.
Prohibited Uses
By purchasing and using a template from Candor Templates, you agree that you may not, under any circumstances:
Share, resell, redistribute, replicate, or duplicate the template, in whole or in part
Represent the design as your own original work
Create derivative works or spin-off offerings based on the template or any part of the included materials
Use the template or any of its components (code, styling, structure) to create competing products or services
Reverse engineer, extract, or adapt our templates for commercial purposes
Intellectual Property Rights
All templates, designs, code, visual layouts, and branding elements are the intellectual property of Candor Templates and are protected under applicable copyright, design right, and trademark laws.
You agree not to infringe upon, dilute, or misappropriate our intellectual property in any form. This includes any unauthorised use, reproduction, or adaptation of our materials.
Unauthorised Use and Enforcement
Unauthorised use of our templates or design materials is considered theft and a violation of intellectual property law.
We reserve the right to pursue legal action, including civil and/or criminal prosecution, for any breach of these terms.
By purchasing and using our templates, you acknowledge and agree to these restrictions in full.
Site Credit
All Candor Templates include a footer credit to promote our work and protect our intellectual property. By default, you are required to retain visible credit, unless you purchase a valid licence to remove or replace it.
You may not, under any circumstance, claim or present our template designs as your own original work.
Default Credit Requirement
All users must display an attribution such as:
“Template design by Candor” – with a live hyperlink to candortemplates.com
This credit must either:
Appear directly in the website footer, or
Be clearly listed on a Site Credits page that is linked from the footer
(The credit must still include the above live link to our website.)
You may add your own name alongside ours (e.g. “Website by [Your Name], Template by Candor”), so long as our credit remains intact and clearly attributed.
Attribution Options
We offer two licensing paths depending on how you intend to use the template:
1. Personal Use Licence
For individuals or businesses using the template for their own website.
Standard (included): Credit must be retained. You may add your own name alongside ours (e.g. “Website by [Your Name], Template by Candor”), so long as our credit remains intact and clearly attributed.
Credit Removal + Replacement Licence: Allows you to remove our credit and replace it with your own.
2. Client Use Licence
For designers, developers, or agencies using the template on behalf of a paying client.
Standard (included): Credit must be retained. You may add your own name alongside ours (e.g. “Website by [Your Name], Template by Candor”), so long as our credit remains intact and clearly attributed.
Credit Removal + Replacement Licence: Allows you to remove our credit and replace it with your own agency, studio, or freelancer credit.
In all cases, this licence is valid for one website only.
If you wish to use the template again, you must purchase a separate licence.
Important Notes
Removing, altering, or hiding the site credit without a valid licence purchase is a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in legal action.
These licensing fees compensate for the loss of visibility and brand promotion associated with removing Candor’s attribution.
You are not permitted to resell, redistribute, or repurpose the template under any licence.
Commercial Use / Using For Clients
We understand that our templates are often used in commercial projects, including client work, freelance services, and agency-led websites. We welcome this use and are proud to support creative professionals in delivering high-quality design outcomes.
However, when using our templates as part of any paid engagement or project where you are receiving compensation, you must adhere to our commercial usage terms and respect our copyright and intellectual property rights.
Attribution Requirements
By default, you are required to display a visible site credit to Candor Templates, with a live hyperlink to candortemplates.com. You must not claim our template designs as your own original work under any circumstance.
You may display the credit in the website footer, or on a dedicated Site Credits page that is clearly linked from the footer.
You may also add your own name alongside our credit, provided that attribution to Candor Templates remains intact and visible.
Credit Removal or Replacement
If you wish to remove or replace the credit in a client or commercial project, you must purchase the appropriate Credit Removal Licence. This licence is available in two tiers and must be purchased per template, per website.

Breach of Terms
Removing or modifying the site credit without purchasing a valid licence is a violation of our Terms of Use and constitutes unauthorised use of our intellectual property. We reserve the right to pursue legal action in cases of non-compliance.
By using a Candor Template in client or compensated work, you confirm that you understand and agree to these commercial usage terms.
Template Access
We reserve the right to modify, repackage, or discontinue any of our templates or included materials at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
In the event that we choose to repackage or release updated versions of an existing template or resource, you acknowledge and agree that we are under no obligation to provide you with access to such updated or alternative offerings free of charge or at a discounted rate.
Template purchases are for the version available at the time of purchase and do not include entitlement to future releases or bundled offerings.
Interruptions
While we strive to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience with our templates and any included services such as the Launch Lounge, we cannot guarantee continuous or error-free access.
Access may be temporarily restricted for maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other necessary system operations. These interruptions may occur without notice.
You acknowledge that we are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from temporary unavailability, including but not limited to:
Server downtime
Network failures
Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
System upgrades or backup procedures
Service interruptions by third-party platforms (e.g. Squarespace)
No refunds, discounts, or compensation will be provided due to temporary access issues, downtime, or technical interruptions.
Requirements
Before purchasing, it is your responsibility to carefully review the description of each template for any specific requirements or limitations.
Squarespace Requirements
All templates require:
An active Squarespace account
A valid Squarespace Core Plan subscription or higher
Some templates may require an alternative Squarespace plan (e.g. Commerce, Scheduling, or other specialised tiers). Where applicable, these requirements will be clearly stated in the product description. It is your responsibility to ensure you are using the correct version of Squarespace (currently 7.1) and that your account is compatible with the template purchased.
Canva Compatibility
Included graphics are editable using Canva. Depending on the template, certain elements may require Canva Pro (a paid subscription tier). This will be noted in the template details.
A 30-day free trial of Canva Pro is available, but please be aware:
Opting into the Canva Pro trial is entirely optional
We are not liable for any charges you may incur if you forget to cancel the trial before it renews
User Responsibility & Digital Skill Level
Our templates are designed to be user-friendly and easy to customize. However, they do assume a basic level of digital competency, including familiarity with:
Internet browsing
Squarespace page and design settings
Basic file handling (e.g. uploading images, editing text, etc.)
It is your responsibility to ensure you are confident using the Squarespace platform. If not, you must take steps to familiarise yourself with the basics prior to using the template.
We provide complimentary instructions and tutorials to support you, but:
We are not obligated to offer extensive or personalised training
We reserve the right to determine the format, level, and delivery of instructional materials at our discretion
Functionality
When you purchase a Candor template, you are purchasing a design kit – which includes a professionally curated layout, font pairing, color palette, and styling elements – intended to enhance the aesthetic of your Squarespace website.
Please note: Our templates do not alter, extend, or customize the underlying functionality of the Squarespace platform.
Platform Functionality
All core features and functionality—such as forms, galleries, ecommerce tools, navigation behaviour, integrations, and content blocks—are governed by the native platform capabilities.
If you require specific functionality or features beyond what is included in Squarespace, it is your responsibility to:
Confirm whether Squarespace offers those features
Explore third-party integrations where needed
Consult Squarespace support for technical or feature-based guidance
Our templates are designed to visually elevate your website while working within the limits of what Squarespace provides.
Launch Lounge, Tutorials and Guides
Access to the Launch Lounge, as well as any accompanying tutorials or guides, is provided as complimentary bonus content and is not included as part of your template purchase.
While we aim to equip you with helpful and relevant resources, you acknowledge and agree that:
These materials are provided at our discretion and may be updated, retired, or removed at any time without notice.

Custom Code
Where custom code is provided as part of your template or as an additional service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
We cannot guarantee compatibility between our custom code and any other existing or future code, plugins, integrations, or modifications you may apply to your website.
Our custom code may not remain functional if Squarespace or any third-party service introduces updates, feature changes, or deprecations. We have no control over these external changes and, therefore, cannot ensure ongoing compatibility.
We are not responsible for any conflicts, errors, or malfunctions caused by:
Code written by other developers or agencies
Third-party plugins or integrations
User-made modifications or additions
Platform updates or changes
If issues arise due to custom code we have created—especially where changes have been made to your site after delivery—any time spent diagnosing or resolving these issues may incur an additional service fee. This will be quoted and charged separately.
Custom code is offered “as-is” and is considered outside the scope of template support unless otherwise stated in writing.
Third-Party Applications
Our templates may include the use of embedded third-party applications, design kits, or custom code to enhance your website experience. However, due to the ever-changing nature of web technologies, we cannot guarantee that these third-party elements will continue to function as intended after your installation is complete.
Please note:
Web browsers, third-party platforms, and Squarespace may update their systems at any time. These changes may cause disruptions to functionality, layout, or appearance on your site.
If a third-party service, Squarespace update, or browser change causes part of your site or embedded feature to become non-functional, it is outside of our control and outside the scope of our included support.
In such cases, we are happy to assess the issue and, where possible, provide a quote for repair or adaptation, should you wish to commission us to resolve the problem.
You understand and agree that continued functionality of third-party features cannot be guaranteed and may require additional cost to address if impacted by future changes beyond our control.
Refunds & Cancellation
All of our templates and related products are digital goods, and as such, are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges under any circumstance. By purchasing, you agree to this policy in full.
We understand that this may be disappointing, but due to the nature of digital content and immediate access, we cannot make exceptions.
Consumer Cancellation (Digital Content)
If you are a consumer purchasing digital content, by accessing, downloading or requesting installation to begin, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations once performance begins. This does not affect any non-excludable statutory rights you may have.

Installation Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel an installation at any time, for any reason, including (but not limited to) incomplete or incorrect information submitted, failure to provide site access, or violation of our Terms of Use.
If we cancel your installation, you will be refunded for the installation service only, not the template itself. We will always do our best to notify you as promptly as possible in such cases.
Errors & Content Changes
Loss of Content & Errors
We take every reasonable precaution to protect your existing site content during installation. However, by proceeding with installation, you acknowledge that:
We cannot be held liable for any accidental content loss, display issues, or errors that may occur during or after the installation process.
Although content loss is rare, we strongly recommend that you back up your website content (including images, text, and custom code) before installation begins.
Squarespace-Related Errors
We are not responsible for any issues, bugs, or platform-level errors originating from Squarespace itself. Any content loss, layout disruption, or functionality problems caused by Squarespace system errors or limitations fall outside of our control and our scope of responsibility.
Style Changes to Existing Content
When installing a template on an existing site, the new design settings—including fonts, colors, spacing, animations, and overall style—will apply sitewide. This means:
Your current pages will not be edited or deleted, but
They will appear visually different due to the new global style settings introduced with the template.
By purchasing an on-site installation, you acknowledge and accept that your existing content will be restyled, and may not look the same as it did prior to the installation.
Custom Coding & Plugins
When you purchase a code plugin or custom coding service, you are granted a single-use, non-transferable licence for one website only—the site specified at the time of purchase. This licence does not permit redistribution, resale, sub-licensing, or reuse across multiple sites.
Creating additional copies, sharing, or using the plugin or code on other projects without purchasing additional licences is strictly prohibited and a violation of our terms.
Support & Bug Fixes
Each plugin or coding service includes 30 days of email support from the date of delivery, limited to:
Identifying and resolving bugs or unexpected behaviour in the code.
Clarifying how to use or apply the code within your Squarespace site.
If a bug is identified and cannot be resolved, we may choose to issue a refund for the plugin or code only—no additional compensation will be provided under any circumstances.

Platform & Browser Updates
As browsers, Squarespace, and third-party services evolve, updates may inadvertently disrupt the functionality of your installed code or plugin. In such cases:
We are not obligated to update your plugin or code to restore functionality.
We are not responsible for notifying you of compatibility issues that arise due to future changes.
If desired, we may offer to investigate and restore compatibility for an additional fee, quoted at the time of enquiry.
Cross Browser Compatability
We make every effort to ensure that our templates and custom code function reliably across a wide range of modern web browsers. All designs and code are tested on current versions of major browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
However, due to the wide variation in browser technologies and rendering engines, we cannot guarantee that every feature will display or function identically in all browsers or browser versions. This includes:
Browsers that are outdated or no longer supported by their developers
Browsers with limited support for modern CSS, JavaScript, or HTML standards
Inconsistent rendering between browser types (e.g., font handling, spacing, animation support)

All Canva templates require access to Canva and basic Canva knowledge, including how to use the platform and make edits.
Our Canva templates come with basic support, meaning we can help you receive and access your templates. For customization support, you'll have access to Canva customer support and their extensive tutorials.
All copy and photography is for demo purposes only and are intended to be replaced.
Our templates come with a one-time use license, in short, 1 template purchase = 1 project only. If you want to use the template for a different person/business, you must purchase another license.
