Each template purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-seat license to the template. If you need to install the template more than once, multiple templates must be purchased.

In short, 1 template purchase = 1 website only.

To clarify, each Squarespace template can be used for one website only. If you want to use the template for a different person, business, or website, you must purchase another license by purchasing the template again.

We love working with designers, and that’s why our Standard Licence includes use for client projects. It’s our way of making things easy and seamless for you.

However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

1. The Candor Templates footer credit must stay live and visible unless you purchase a Credit Removal Licence.

2. Each client project requires its own licence. If you’re working on multiple client sites, you’ll need to purchase the template separately for each one.

Once you’ve hit purchase, we get to work. Your chosen demo template will be installed on a fresh new Squarespace 7.1 site and transferred straight into your Squarespace account.

From there, it’s all yours to tweak, tailor, and take live.

Yes! However, it depends on your website version.

To check your Squarespace version, log into your site and click Help in the left panel. If your website is built on Squarespace version 7.1, we can install the template on your existing website.

Simply purchase the "install on my existing site" add-on during check-out along with your template.

As a Candor Templates client you will automatically receive 25% off of your Squarespace Subscription (plus a free domain and professional email) if you choose to upgrade your new website to an annual plan within 30 days. This discount is not valid for existing site installs as it requires a new website to be created.

You only need to check your Squarespace version if you are opting for the installation of the template on an existing website. You do not need to check your Squarespace version if you are choosing “transfer to me as a new website” when purchasing.

All of our templates are built for Squarespace 7.1 and use Fluid Engine, Squarespace's brand-new editing experience.

• We don't use technical jargon or industry-specific language; we communicate in a friendly, accessible way that's easy to understand.

We do suggest that a basic level of understanding of Squarespace and using the internet is required to work with our templates.

Understanding code is not required to use our templates. Our templates come with done-for-you code, so you don't need to have any coding knowledge.
